Leominster Grammar School Song    Leominster Grammar School Song Title and Author unknown

Where beauty now and peace abide,

By Arrow, Lug and Teme,

Where browse our famous kind beside each grayling, haunted stream,

We own a goodly heritage

A place of old renoun

And poet’s pens from age to age

Have praised our native town………

Here Mortimer’s unruly stock

Besought our borough’s aid.

And here a dauntless Caradoc

Made Caesar’s men afraid.

For Caesar here in ancient times

Silurian blood did spill

Where now our Minster flings it’s chimes

Across to Eaton Hill…. …. ….

So let us all as here we stand

Resolve to keep this rule

To honour this our lovely land

And honour this our school.

And then as age to age succeeds

Our watchword shall prevail…

Fight the good fight – and by your deeds

Make virtue to prevail…

Fight the good fight – and by your deeds

Make virtue to prevail
