Well, this actually came about as a result of a coincidence, or you could say ‘fate’!
I was busy working on the life of Caratacus when, in 1984, the body of a man was found in a peat bog at Lindow Moss near Manchester Airport. He was believed to have been a high ranking Druid Priest named ‘The Fox’, who had been ritually sacrificed in AD 52, the period in time that the Romans were annihilating the Celts of the West, particularly the Druids.
Circumstantial evidence suggested that Caratacus and The Fox would have been well known to each other, so I interwove their stories and came up with ‘Emissary To The Gods’.
